Ive been a big fan of minecraft for sometime but have never actually played it...yep thats right lol.

When I came to play the game through the main site, I thought I'd try the classic version first. However I soon came across a problem and couldnt play the game because of an error. I have looked quite extensively into the error(the 'Pixel not accelerated one).

From what Ive deduced the error relates to my graphics card being out of date, unfortunately it seems to be SO out of date I cant even get an update from the manufacturers website.

Other people have suggested its a Java error, but I have reinstalled that and it hasnt changed anything. My laptop runs on Vista and has 1GB Ram. Im quite computer illiterate but when people say you need 'at least 1GB ram', does that mean free after everything else or do they actually mean you only need 1GB Ram overall.
