Howdy all!
This is just a short post to let you all know that we things are under way with our 1.7.2 updates and additions. We have the best people down in the Lab working on it as we speak!
I cannot give a reliable ETA on early access at this time because it depends on the progress with bukkit's dev releases.
We hope to kick off testing within a few days!

They announced development builds... this is considered Alpha and they need help to get the bugs worked out before they will even do a beta.
So don't get too anxious, but yes, it's progress.

Some progress. I was staring at my server screen in 1.7 while World of Minecraft said pinging... for quite a while... now there's some progress!

When it is ready, will there be a forum post saying its, done and it will be available to the public in a certain time, or will it be updated instantly?
Like, say when its done, will you give a date saying that it will be open in a set amount of days? (because honestly thats what i'd prefer)

We will make a forum post when the 1.7.2 map is ready, and that is when early access will start.

There isn't enough people online at the one time to play all these games, you can't drag these users away from SMP for the life of 'em!
Although, now that I think about it, these game types could help us bring in more competitions, instead of just creative, so that those who aren't skilled in building (me) could actually win stuff! :D

There is a portal to a hunger games server in the lobbyas well as a server that is currently indev called the HUB which will feature custom minigame maps created by the World of Minecraft community.

I am really looking forward to this new map :) It makes me so exited! Does anyone plan on making a medieval theme city?

Well I'm planning on building sort of a castle/guild/town/thing for itemhunters if that's what you mean.

I am not very good at building yet, but I have tried to make some medieval themes, and its getting better. Looking forward to see how it will turn out, and if you want any help just let me know :) I might have to try it out in creative first though!

I intend to build a large castle, convert some zombie villagers into villagers, and raise a nice city full of testificates with bunches of iron golems patrolling.
