The other day I was playing Minecraft and my client abruptly froze on me and crashed almost immediately. When I restarted the game, I was prompted to do an update. I thought this was weird, because I didn't hear any news of new updates coming out. Upon finishing the updates I noticed that literally nothing had changed, I thought that it was most likely something fixing a minor bug that I probably wouldn't even notice. A couple days later was when the weird stuff started to happen. I was looking through the game's files to install a Portal Gun mod when I stumbled upon something extremely peculiar. In the main .minecraft directory there was a file titled "itwasyourfault.flv" Since I can't play .flv files I converted the file over to a .wmv and played it in Windows Media Player. The video seen here is what I found. Immediately after seeing the video, I deleted all of the files from my Minecraft directory and re-installed the game. The strange update was gone and the video file wasn't there anymore. Luckily, saved it somewhere else before deleting the files so I could upload the video on Youtube.
If anybody else has been encountering the same problem, it would be greatly appreciated if you reply here so I know that I'm not insane.
I'd appreciate it if you keep your rude comments to a minimum. I'm looking for people who have dealed with the same problem as me so I can find out whether or not this was just a one time glitch. Thanks for your time though.
We don't need obviously fake videos around here. You are obviously trying to get random views or make a viral video which both won't be happening.
Want to know why?
The topic you made on the Minecraft Forums was deleted and you made the video a response to a popular video on YouTube.
this is why i say this is where youtube videos come to die cause we will give you the honest truth
failure at itsfinest,
epitome of improbability,
sounds likely to me....
What is that even supposed to be? o.O
