What was your best mining trip? Post it here! This is not a contest, so don't get crazy. Don't give every single detail, but describe it good enough so that we could get a picture of it in our minds. Also, please put what edition the trip was on. (PC = Computer, PE = Pocket Edition, Xbox = Xbox 360 Edition) And one trip per post. I'll start.
My best mining trip was on Xbox:
I was playing with a friend and we decided to go on a mining trip. We ended up finding a HUGE stronghold, with lots of stuff. After we left the stronghold, we found a lot of lava. We placed blocks and walked across it to the other side. On that side we found redstone, lapis, coal, iron, butter (gold), and a few diamonds. After we were done (we cheated a tiny bit) we went back to our house and decided to build a castle out of stone brick, slabs, mossy stone brick, and cracked stone brick. It turned out to be awesome.

I found 17 diamonds once on one mining trip.....

I wad mining on smp, with my friends and we found almost 64 diamonds!!! We used fortune picks

One time my friend and i found 48 diamonds in one trip without fortune on like our 4th night. :P

This is a bit off-topic, but when I went on my first mining trip, I was so proud of myself because I managed to make an iron block.

Well, my trip was on SMP, and the way I recall it happening is I found a cave right in the backyard of my house, and I decided to go mining. Oh, bow I was not dissapointed. I found a vein of 9 diamonds, which vodka had to mine up for me because my pick had just broke, several stacks of redstone, 1.5 stacks of iron, two emeralds, and a spider spawner IN an abandoned mineshaf, IN a ravine.
