i have two accounts and can play on the other one infact i am a mod on maiome and wanted a newb account to check some settings so I am using classic this evening.

I suppose I shouldnt be suprised that a community manager does no more than gives a useless pointless unhelpful comment and then fails to respond to further requests.

OK cartose777 maybe you dont have a server but the client still works, I assume that is what the password is needed for and I assume lunick is aware of that so it would have been at least courtious to have either pointed that out and answered my question or at least said he didnt know how to help but instead I get a smart alec remark that does no more than demean the whole concept of the forum.

I hope you don't think I just sit back and wait for someone to solve my problem for me.

I have been trying to get the client to recognise me and I have just succeeded in getting the mojang account to send me a reset for my password, (it has just been saying I have an account so wont let me make a new one up to now)

Its by logging in to the mojang account that you get username and password for the World of Minecraft client.

I used it in the World of Minecraft client and I got on a site that I am a super builder (tunez) as a newb. Job almost solved. Though some sites say 'connection lost. you lost connection to the server' and some say 'connection lost illegal name' even though my original name works on all of them? 

The site I want is maiome (I am moderator), for some reason it doesnt show up on the World of Minecraft client list (or in mojangs classic multiplayer list if I go that method) but I saved it on the World of Minecraft client and can load it from my saved list. Unfortunately it gets me onto the maiome server as my moderator character?

It used to show on the list until recently. If I go on as my moderator character it still doesnt show up.

Would anyone know if this is a fault at the mojang site, the client site or a problem with maiome?

I am wondering if this might cause my problem loading as my moderator character instead of the new one?

I can use my original user name and password and get onto servers that show up on the list when I go to the World of Minecraft client.

I can use the new user name that I managed to register with mojang after asking how to in this thread and getting no answer but my new user name is an e-mail. For some reason the new user name gets me onto some of the servers on the World of Minecraft client but not all of them. See comments above for what I get instead.

I have recently seen some of the servers advertising that they accept e-mail user names. I can get on these with the e-mail user name. This has led me to believe that not all servers accept e-mail user names and my server - the maiome one doesn't accept e-mails. (I am not the owner I am a moderator worked up through the ranks.

The tunez site allows me to use my original user name and signs me on as an engineer (I am an engineer now but I got that after starting this thread, I was a superbuilder). It also allows me to sign on with my new e-mail name as a newb.

I don't have contact with the owner of maiome and don't see him on the site, if I get chance I will ask him the same question.

Could it be possible the reason I can get on with my original user name and not the e-mail name is because maiome doesn't accept e-mail names?
