Why do i go into Single player mode when I Chose a Map under Multiplayer???

I dont get why this is happening... I go to Multiplayer and click on a map... now When it loads the words on the screen say Generating Level and i go into Single Player Map... I want this to Work!
Can anyone help or ell me whats happening?
