Some people have been asking for a version of World of Minecraft Game Client that behaves exactly like the original client.
I'm not going to make a completely different version without hacks, but towards this end, an option has been added for completely disabling hacks (ie, so there's no hacks to start with when the client starts up)
All other functionality remains such as the chat modifications, support for themes, mouse smoothing, ui disabling etc. But there are no hacks and the game client will respond exactly as the original client.
To use this new feature type "/client hacks off", and restart the game client.
As usual get it from the Download button at the top of the page.
(1.8.4 contained a bug, 1.8.5 is fixed)

When I click on the huge download button (lol), and download the Mac version of the new Client (I have a Mac), it downloads and then opens this little window thing and it says "image data corrupted". What does this mean and how can I fix it?

What are you talking about? To use commands use chat.....
So press "t" like you would on any server to use commands and type the command in.

OK... let me make this as simple for you as possible.
"/ - Open up chat in command mode."
SO in other words it's like pressing "t" which brings up chat and then typing "/".....
Instead its a shortcut to bring up "chat with a / as a precursor"
SO... if I want to be lazy when typing "/fill red" which is a command to fill point x to z with red tile. I can press "/" which gives me the "/" and i finish it off with "fill red" giving me "/fill red". I can do this instead of pressing "t" to bring up chat and then pressing "/"..... it's basically a shortcut for when using "commands" which is called "command mode"...
Do you know have an understanding?

well what happens is when i click on it the sign in thing comes up and even if i wait 10 minutes the server list doesnt come up.
i have tried to re-unstall it. then after i do it works around 3 times then does the same thing. The sign in screen comes up then when i click sign in the server list doesnt come on. then if i go on ona other World of Minecraft i have i go onto a server the screen goes black like others complain of. And this has started after i installed 1.8.6 I have also treid all the stuff you guys have posted about it saying how to fix it but it still doesnt work but even if i do get rid of 1.8.6 the others still dont work. even if i retry all the stuff you posted about it.

kk i just think the text in 1.8.6 is awful(sorry) i liked the 1.6.* text better so how do i make the 1.8.6 text look like the 1.6.* one???

Ok... This is just bizarre! How is it different? Can you take a screenshot of the old one and the new one side by side and show me how it's different?
I mean apart from a small difference in size (which you can adjust with /client scale), and a different color scheme (which you can change with /client colors old) it should be practically identical to the 1.6 font.

To re-enable hacks, simply type "/client hacks on" and restart the client again.
Since the hacks are enabled (or not) at startup, each time you want to change, you need to type the command and restart.
This is not a special version of the client. It's simply a new feature which will be present in all releases from this point forward.
