Good Morning, Afternoon and Evening everyone!

Well...how do I start this? First of all, apologies for getting off track with these the past couple weeks. As you are aware, the previous week I did not get a newsletter posted. In short, other things came up and overtime at work has been steadily catching up with me. Then I ended up working all day Saturday and got sick the following week. Good news is I’m feeling better but man, talk about your rough patch… [Note: I’m in a bit of a rush to post this and I will edit in more details soon]

Anyway, let's hurry and dive into what's been going down in World of Minecraft lately...

 Announcements/Reminders

• In case you haven't heard already, two new games have been added to HUB: Chess and Checkers! Type /warp chess or /warp checkers to get there and use the bulletin board to get started. Invite friends or play solo against an AI. Plus flying is enabled during game play to help you plan your attack. Come over and try it out!
  
  
• There have been several bugs and more server problems lately and the staff asks that everyone please be patient during periods of downtime. Snow and Spuds have been extremely diligent in keeping things running correctly but since many users are in completely different time zones, fast solutions to these problems are not always possible.
  
  
• Remember that there are lots of areas and secrets to explore in /lobby if you want to just look around between servers.

                                            TURNING UP THE HEAT

Wolftone1916 has been hard at work designing an enormous arrangement of fire and brimstone that even the Nether would be jealous of. It’s called “The Hellish Arena.” This colossal structure is one of several projects that Wolf hopes to use in other maps of the server. If you have some spare time, come visit and check up on his progress. It gets better and better every day and never fails to disappoint.

HUB

Several users have tried their luck at a game of chess (including me) and it’s quite entertaining. There is now a much larger chess set to test your skill with, however only one match can be played on it at a time. The smaller boards are still available as well.
