World of Minecraft not connecting to servers

Hello, just coming here for some minor troubleshooting with World of Minecraft. I seem to have hit an odd combination of problems that I've tried to solve on my own without success.
1. World of Minecraft will not display the server list, even though I can access the list through the minecraft website, and my user credentials are correct (They are from minecraft.net not here)
2. World of Minecraft will not connect to my server, even though the ports are all open (This has been confirmed because myself and others can access the server via beta servers, and the browser clients) It will automatically start generating the terrain in single player mode. The server is not to blame, as we've been able to access it without using World of Minecraft.
I've tried downloading a fresh copy of the minecraft.jar file. It made no difference. The above problems still occur, and it's rather annoying trying to build things without being able to fly. I'll post my specs anyhow, just to appease those who might blame my connection for some reason.
