so heres some tips for servers. they use some of World of Minecraft smp and pvps commands and plugins sometimes.

SMP:
1. use /afk to get to the bottem of ladders or avoid fall damage in the air

2. use /afk in water to go to the surface

PVP:

1. make a clan and set the home at your home. use .clan home set to set it and do /clan home to flee
