We have some new maps and themes for this week and they are Ancient Roman Empire for Citybuild, Chinese Mountain
Range for Main, Aztec, Inca, and Mayan Empires for Yin, and Ancient Egyptian Civilization
for Yang. We ask that you please build in theme for these maps. Out of theme builds are subject to staff removal. Be sure to stop by and check these out.
With these new maps, there are some things that concern us. We've been seeing rather large patches of land being cleared out, assigned, or severely modified within a day of a new map being put up. To combat giant modifications to these maps, we're placing some restrictions which apply to every World of Minecraft server.
Do not fill, assign, or otherwise change large areas of the map without permission, as this makes the map's general terrain look unkempt and severely restricts the general public. If your build needs a large area of space, please ask any admin, exec, or owner for permission. If you are caught filling, getting a large continuous space assigned, or severely changing the terrain, you may be punished as staff sees necessary.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here, in our servers, or on IRC.
The maps all changed. You won't be able to edit it, but you can look at it when it gets put up in the museum.
Rather obvious question, but The Great Civilizations theme... timeline is one week exactly yes? Or is it until the maps fill up as per usual?
Usually the maps take around a week to fill anyway, it's up to the OPs but I could imagine (speculation here) a new map somewhere just after a week.
so these maps will all be museums?

What happened to the death theme? I was working on something there and I want to work on it, but I don't know where I can find it, or even know if I'm allowed to edit it
