All of the sudden some people have Badges on their names now? When did this happen and why only some people.

As for some people not having badges, it is still being worked on, throughout the day some people have had random different badges, a few extra mods here and there :P

H4x was on the forums last night and i am pretty sure he was awarding some badges to people but i am not sure, I think he was awarding the badges to people that help on the forums, As you can see on AwsomeG2's post with a picture of badges it explains what they stand for, For example, Sonardo is not Epic Contributor yet he has 'Contributor+' badge as he 'Is going above and beyond to help the community', So that's all i know so far is some peopl have badges but not all people will.. (:

That's what i was thinking but it seems that H4X is awarding badges to members who are frequently helping out and answering other members questions and queries.

Well I think he just gave badges to whoever he saw needed them while he was online looking through recent posts. If you look around there are no contributors with contributor+ and no Epic Contributors with just contributor.

It's been said on previous forum topics that Contributor/Epic Contributor are not related to the badges. If they were, what would be the point of even having badges?
The Contributor/Contributor+ badges are for people who help around the community. I'll assume that means more than just on the forums, but I don't know too much about it.
