Alpha doesn't seem to work

I know Creative and such things are down, but is alpha down aswell, if it is, i'm probably the only one that can't connect, i keep on getting an error, it says:

                                                        Failure to launch
                                              Fetal error occurred (5): null
                                        Extracting: lwjgl.jar.lmza to lwjgl.jar
                        Any suggestions? or is this something that will fix its self?

This happened to me too.

This happened to me too. Re download the client from Minecraft.net and all should work as expected.
