anyone know how to stp animal spawning on property?

i built a fence around my property but animals are always in because they spaen there. how do i stop this?

okay, if this is single player the animals only spawn on grass(im pretty sure) so use cobblestone or wood or something that doesnt make grass... but if it is a multiplayer server and you are hosting it then you can turn the spawning off in the server gui

make another light place
if you make a house with light then you get animals because they like light so, maybe build another light place or something like that or, just put a torch in the caves or something. did you put light in your house???????

as long as there's no grass in your fenced area animals will keep out :)

ANimals spawn in lighted areas at night usually. Assuming your house is lit to avois creepers spawning in your house, you cannot stop this. Just kill them and harvest their meat.
