Installing textures easily!
yeah i called it the most dangerous game so what
APOCACRAFT
You wake up as the sunlight shines in through your windows, what little sunshine is left these days.
You step out of your home, out onto the dead grass, into what remains of the world. Your little settlement is silent. You buried the last of your comrades yesterday, just before the red sun sunk below the horizon.
You've lost a lot, when the machines rose, and our own weapons were used against us. Nuclear winter covers half the earth, and the rest is wasteland, where you are now. You're used to it now. You might as well raid the supplies of your fallen brothers, and tend to the feeble garden that Aaron left behind.
Just another day, post apocalypse.
This is the resurrection of my Apocacraft re-texture, revamped and remade for indev use. It changes all of the bricks, all of the menus, most of the mobs, and some of the items (More will come later), and makes indev into what I consider to be a very cool, very dark experience.
If you're bored, give it a try. It's been extensively playtested, but I'd like some feedback from other people. The process of changing to this texture is easy as can be, and the method is detailed in the Read Me.
Speaking of which, here is the download link.

If you want to use this texture in creative or survival, here's the versions for that.

Unzip it, READ THE READ ME, and try that sum-bitch out! Let me know what you think!
Oh wait, some advice.
Nights in Apocacraft are not dark. They are HELLA DARK. And since most of the mobs are now terminators with only one subroutine (Kill) it might be good to hide at night.
Additionally, don't even think about going underground unless you have a TON of torches. Seriously.
Play on normal or hard for best experience. Easy at the very very least. Peaceful means you'll never be able to get your John Connor on.
Rev.1:
+ Initial Release
Rev.2:
+ Added Armor functionality
+ Changed icons for all armor
- Cloth has become hand stitched fur padding
- Iron armor is now the steel battleplate of a Resistance Marine
- Gold armor is archaic plate of a long dead warrior culture.
- Diamond armor has become the impenetrable armor of a secret government project, finished too late to stop the machines.
+ Changed moon and sun, hopefully removing the horrible glow effect.
+ Removed superfluous folders/files so it will work with simple updates.
Rev.2.1:
+ Released Apocacreative
Rev.3
+ Added Furnace texture and menu
+ Porkchops now equals Bacon. Helllll yeah.
+ Tool updates
- All picks and axes prettified.
- Diamond and gold sword altered
+ Main menu buttons darkened to increase contrast with letters.
+ Glass and tree textures changing slightly.
Rev.3.1
+ Modified GUI to have a different health bar, and inverted the armor bar. Notch's version doesn't make sense to me.
+ Sheep wool fixed.
+ Flint fixed.
+ Diamond pick modified (Hopefully fixed?)
+ Arrow and feather icons recolored to match arrow model.
The read me included with the .zip package gives a good step by step guide on how to add it to your indev page. Check it out, and let me know if you have anymore questions!

what program is like run and/or will work like run for mac? Or is there a way to get run for mac?
You know that this is the best texture pack EVER!
I love the whole think EXCEPT for that, well, i have hax and it works when i boot it up on the internet for multi player but when i boot up the World of Minecraft hax thing so i can go play multiplayer, it wont let me use the texture pack. Whenever i use hax it just comes with the same old boring texture. Is there a solution? Plz Help.
NVRMIND: I found out how to do it. Srry.
My Indev doesn't work its saddening I was looking forward to it and its like webpage could not connect to internet D:
what the f..k is archive
sneakpeak folder doesn't pop up
so i know how to change the terrain.png but everything else I'm not sure. anybody have ideas?
I got this to work in Survival/Alpha, and PARTS of the texture work. The terrain and animal textures work, but the sky, leaves, and parts of furnace and everything beyond iron ends up purple. ._.
I'm sorta new at this stuff but i used my limited experience to make this texture pack work for alpha. I copied over some of the original textures such as the cactus and redstone to stop those glitched purple blocks. I didn't edit the cactus to match the overall theme since im not a good pixel artist but my main concern was fixing the purple blocks. I also added some of the newer items like minecarts and boats so they wouldnt show up as invisible items in the game. I didn't particularly like the door so i changed it. I dont take credit for the original idea only slight modifications.
just paste the terrain into the minecraft.jar and the items.jpg inside the gui folder thats also in the minecraft.jar
let me know your opinions
sorry i just posted the terrain.jpg and already noticed a problem. I forgot to set the transparency for the decomposing leaves. heres the updated terrain file. Let me know if you guys catch any other errors or if you have any suggestions :)

This is probably a stupid question, but how did you manage to have your texture on Indev? It would be nice to have on mine.
Thanks,
