the problem is that you try to log in with the World of Minecraft account and password. you have to use account and password you created on www.minecraft.net . register an account there and it should work.

First, either download the server software from somewhere.
The basic server is at minecraft.net and others can be found through the minecraft forums.
Second, you can access it by searching the multiplayer on minecraft.net or
by logging into World of Minecraft client using your minecraft.net user and pass.Then search that alphabetical list.

Hello. So I downloaded the fly hack and stuff thing, but I can't play single player! When I click single player it just crashes. Multiplayer works fine though. I have tested single player on my mac AND on my Linux PC. Help please!!!!

there are many cases of single player not working when on windows, try re-downloading minecraft (or updating if it is out of date)

So i just bought it and when i went to destroy a tree it won't let me. In fact, it won't let me gather any kind of resources at all. The blocks have things dissapear but they come right back. Please let me know if you have a solution.

that probably is a bug. notch should have fixed them. try updating, if it still doesnt work, re-install the launcher

Hello, my friend tried to help me build in my realm, but any time she doesn't keep her hand perfectly steady or still on the trackpad or tablet she uses, her character starts spinning uncontrollably. We have no idea why this happens, and it often results in roses and dandelions floating high in the air. She also sometimes can't control whether she's breaking or placing blocks (as in right click, which normally places them, will instead break them). Have you any advice?

for the spinning, make sure your friend doesnt have the sensitivity turned way up

when i open World of Minecraft.exe I get the login box, I login. It all works fine until i click on one of the servers. the sever list closes and a tiny box appears in the middle of the screen. I try to expand it and it doesn't respond. I try to close it and it says SE binary not responding.

Would you mind helping with the "Single Player" Sarge? I put in my minecraft.net username and password correctly, but clicking the Single Player button only closes the World of Minecraft Client, nothing else. Clicking "Resume" gives me a server connection error. Am I missing something?
I don't really want to play on the official servers (don't trust them) just by myself or on a Hamachi server :/

first: resume brings you to the last CLASSIC server you were on
second: sorry, but i don't know why single player button doesn't work. maybe try reinstalling World of Minecraft Client

When loading World of Minecraft the update reaches end and then PC shuts down and reboots. Same happens if I choose not to update. Any ideas? cheers

If you have bought the minecraft game (which you HAVE to do), go to minecraft.net. Once there, login, and go to profile. At the top will be some options on that. Just browse for the image, click open, and click upload image. That's it, very simple. Yet a lot of people don't know.

in the later World of Minecraft versions (around 1.7.5 or up) should be a folder named "skins"

Since you're new, you should probably go read the post about it. It says you must be at least artist, and since you ARE new, I'm gonna guess you're not even builder. Go to the classic servers and look for World of Minecraft: Realms. You'll either find direct answers or someone who can help you more there.

When I start up minecraft beta it wont work, it just logs in then goes to a black screen. It happened after i installed the planes mod. I already had adventurecraft toomanyitems and zan minimap. i tried removing a file from planes but it still doesnt work. :( Can anybody help me please?

hi hope you can help i bought minecraft about 2 weeks ago and its been working fine. i recenly tried to update to the latest version and now it always gets stuck at 8%. ive tried deleting the minecraft folder in %appdata% and ive even reinstalled a fresh copy of windows out of desperation but still crashes at 8%. cant find a solution to this anywhere :-(. can anybody help please?
