Hi World of Minecraft members,

Are there any backups of any of the old World of Minecraft-maps available anywhere?
I'd like to explore them for inspiration.
Otherwise: Is it possible to save the map you're in, if you fx. join World of Minecraft: Citybuild ?

Thanks!,
Sitrus

Yes it is..while using the

Yes it is..while using the World of Minecraft client at the top in the left hand corner there is a button called DUMP

Click that while in a server and it will "dump" (save) the map to the folder the client is in.

After that just load it onto a singe player map.

On a Side note i wouldn't mind having a thread full of the Map Levels and saves so people can just go there and get the level.

Old Maps

I was fairly certain all maps are dumped into a folder somewhere before a map reset.
These will all be accessable via Museums, which are currently down at the moment.
Also, when you dump a level into your folder, it is saved as a .dat file, which is not a .mine file, and connot be played in single player. Do you happen to know how to save it as a .mine file, perhaps with some Omen tweaks here and there? Like loading it in Omen and saving it as a .mine (just be careful trying this and do not erase the original file when saving it, as Omen can't save .dat files last I checked.
