First to get Contributor, you need to get 150 points. To get Epic Contributor, you need 1000 points.
To get Forum Moderator, you need to help people if they have questions or problems. The rest like World of Minecraft Admins, you can't get those.

Also there is a Donator "title" for donating money i do believe, As I have seen someone with that title. Its not a "badge" persay, but just a title for donating money, So peole can see what you've done to help. Though I donated and never got one :( Guess it depends how much you donate XD

Title = Contributor\Forum Moderator\Custom Names
Donators badges are from the old system and we don't apply them any more.
Forum moderator badges are applied to the users that we trust and help support the forums, they are given extra permissions to fix and lock topics.
Don't worry, we notice who helps other users.

Merrowing still has the badge from the old system.. Plus he use to help out alot on the forums. Don't think that I'm not watching, It took uplusion23 and roland223 a while to get forum moderator. If I was going to give anyone a badge at the moment it would have been jak, but after the Merrowing comment it just doesn't seem fair.
As for you skaterkid10 you are so desperate for staff or to have a badge that you have been put on the back burner for a while, coming to irc everyday, sending me pm's and private messages on Realms\SMP is not the way to go for promotions, I'm sorry if I seem rude or blunt but it is the facts and it's the truth.
Please just be patient.

I'm guessing that you get contributor by contributing/donating money. Forum moderators are chosen Nu World of Minecraft Admins (moujave, Triddin, H4X.) Community managers are people like Artful and Kevinsweijen. Asking for any badges will not get you them.
