Black screen problem

When i log in and then after it shows a black screen after i log in and it won't load anything when that happens help.
I didn't know how to use minecrafter program an i was only testing it and add mods but i think i screwed up.
I have a Mac can anyone help.

Have you searched the forum here? I've seen this question asked in other threads. That's probably why no one responded. The most common cause is that either your graphics drivers or your copy of Java is out of date. Update both of those, and see if that fixes the problem.
