I downloaded the newest version of World of Minecraft abotu 5 minutes ago. I forgot to get rid of the old version, so i just replaced the files when it asked(windows 7 asked me to copy and replace or copy and dont replace, or dont copy, i clicked copy and replace for all files.) I got really excited and i opened up the World of Minecraft client, and becuase my hp is slightly crap(only slightly) i have to hit resume, instead of sign in(i get a java error about index strings out of bounds exception with an upsurd number around -10k. if you could help me with that problem i would be delighted.) so i have one server i go to(Grid World(not that i am advertising or anything.) so i hit resume, and then the client opened, went black like it was gonna go to the loading screen, then went a nice grayish color, then when i clicked on the exit button, it became unresponsive. I thought maybe it was because i replaced the files, instead of deleting the old files first. so i got rid of all the World of Minecraft Client files(The native folder, the lib folder, the skins folder, and the actualy client.) and came here and redownloaded it. and the same thing happened(please note i did permanently delete the other folders/files from my recycle bin.) so i thought,"its a bug in the new client." so i right clicked on each folder and the client, and restored previous version. The problem persisted, so i came to the forums here, and wrote this, hoping someone out there can help me.
