Hi everyone,

So as it says, I'm brand spanking new to Minecraft. I've been watching my friends play for years and I finally caved and bought the game for my macbook. However, I have a small problem: I get really severe headaches when I play any first person game. To remedy this, I bought a wired xbox 360 controller so I could sit further away from the screen and hopefully not get such bad headaches.

I've downloaded Minecontrol which is supposed to turn the commands from the controler into keyboard commands but I can't get it to work correctly. It recognizes the controller, and I can move using the left joystick but the right stick is completely non-functional. Also, when I hit left trigger to mine, I can't stop. The command keeps repeating and I end up punching everything in sight.

If anyone has any ideas on what to do, or if anyone knows of a different way to let me use a controller to play, I'd be super excited to hear about it.
