You cannot obtain an older version of Minecraft off their website. The only way to do this is to download it from a complete stranger/hacker. You may get a virus and it is possible it is illegal.

READ ALL BEFORE REPLY minecraft gives you the game for free just download, the only problem is its nearly impossible to enter it unless you get a premium account, or you get minecraftsp.exe. minecraftsp.exe was made by anjocaido to launch the game this is legal because he/she didnt alter the game and mojang doesn't make you buy the game they make you buy the account to play it so its not a hacker and not illegal its just frowned upon and made by a stranger.

You obviously did not listen to me right.Go to the site and click donloads. Download the minecraft.exe and there you go. Iy is an old version but it is minecraft. Start it up offline first once you have donwloaded it.

Do not ask for free minecraft codes/accounts because it is annoying. Also you placed this topic in the 'Texture Packs' section. Please yell me how it has anything to do with texture packs, I have put this topic in the correct section now, but in future please put your posts in the relevant section.

yes roland i have downloaded that version of minecraft but the reason im asking for an account or a giftcode or even the game is because i'd like to play online with all you guys who play online

If you want to play minecraft, you can just download the old version off of minecraft.net, this is Alpha 2.0.0 if I remember correct. Also, be acreful if you are looking for a free account as there is a lot of scams that can have malware etc in the download.
