well ladies and gentlemen it's been fun
I'm going to be leaving due to the current circumstances our server has fallen under.
the mods and staff have been doing a great job taking care of it but it's just not what i want anymore
the economy suites no one anymore and my castle will be left unfinished and deleted along
with the old map
I won't be taking any of my wealth with me so i feel it's best to distribute it to my closest friends who still play on the server i'll be on for a few more days to just pass stuff out and such.

That's your opinion.
It's a pity you want to leave over such a lame reason such as the economy. We're not moving old builds because once we let one or two people do it, more and more people will want their builds moved and there is more and more chance of one of us screwing something up such as the server or the build itself. Moving big builds also takes more time than needed.
You will be missed but a little overdramatic post.

i stayed here because i loved the economy
I came to this server with a few friends after a older server went down
my fellows moved on and left while the server at the time was very likeable to me.
my build
i spent days of playtime working on that castle.I completely understand the staff's worries of map
corruption/defection because of moved builds but i invested too much time into it to bother anymore.
even though i disagree with you here i still think you're a great mod.

I highly doubt the economy was the only reason you stayed here, all the values were default and never actually changed on the server. All you need to do is take the plugin, put it on your own server and bam, same economy.
If you want a build to keep, you should probably build it on your own server or singleplayer. On multiplayer servers it's to show off and I'm sure if you asked nicely enough to MrSnowGlobe, he could have gotten a schematic file of your castle so you could take it away with you somewhere.

I do not own a server-i cannot host a server i'm glad that World of Minecraft freely allows the server to people like me to enjoy.
it's a large UNfinished build it was meant for this server for me and a few buddies
whatever floats your boat mate, i was just trying to show appreciation for the staff.
this post is for any ''friends/allies/aquantances'' to say goodbye and to let them know to come on the server for my going away present.

You could always try this mod, just bear in mind that it'll save all the fake blocks from Orebfuscator as real blocks.
You'll be missed, I'm sure - come back whenever you feel like it. :)

funny thing is i got like 10 drawings of it all a bit differently made as i was making the castle

I spent over a year's worth of work on World of Minecraft: Realms. Now that the server is down, for an undefined period of time, all this work may have been lost, with little chance of being recovered.
Guess what? It doesn't matter. I'm still alive, healthy and willing to work hard again.
If anything, you're being extremely overdramatic. Leaving because a build got archived? I have at least 5 builds of similar scale on the SMP server, all are now archived. All of which I spent many hours and weeks creating.
Basically, what I'm trying to imply is,
Get over it. You're not the only one who's lost a lot.

But also yes. I too have experienced the loss of many a great builds. Including many that even the community members are sad that we have lost.
(dwarven City, DeadlyDungeons, my 750x500 pixelart....,Sky Sphere City, and many more)
It happens, such is life. I'm not going to say you're over dramatic, or that you're wrong in anyway.
I'm simply going to state
We all lose many things through life's hard ways. Whether it be through a game, or through our own minds. It's hard at times, especially after we grow attached to them, that we have to see them go. But just remember that no matter what, it will always be a part of your memory. And in the memory of those who shared it. Just because it doesn't physically exist, or that you can't see it all the time, doesn't mean that it will never be there again, or that you are completely losing everything. It just means that it will just have to live on in another state of mind.

Dude your leaving cause you lost a build? im going to loose a lot of builds myself but i dont care (well maybe a little for my house), but i can rebuild everything again. this entire time that im waiting for snow to fix something, im still building something that i know will be lost when the end is redone again

I'm not excited about parting with my pumpkin farm but I'm not going to get mad about it and leave. Seems like your just making an excuse to leave cause you simply don't want to be with the community anymore but feel just walking away without saying anything isn't fit either

I think it is perfectly understandable that people would be very annoyed if months of work are going to just get wiped away.
I am sure that I heard somewhere before that we were going to be moving impressive builds, or ones that we thought a lot of time had been spent on.
I'm sure what nobody needs is you all saying that you also had good build, but you are better people because you are happy to throw a few months of work away. If I had built anything good on that map, I would be incredibly annoyed if I was told that they were just going to throw it away.
@Skyara: We have been told that realms will be coming back and everything will still be there, whereas Awie has been told that his build will not be retrievable. Don't tell people to just get over what they have lost.
@ssfdre: Same again, don't just tell people to get over things that they are sad about. Also, almost all of the things you have made are direct copies of other peoples' work, you have the schematics and could make almost all of them in 1 day.
@AwsomeG2: I think if he simply didn't want to be with the community anymore, he would have just left a long time ago, you do not need any reason at all to leave

Take a photograph of your place as you play. Photograph your friends at your place and at theirs and wherever good times to be had.
That what I do. Why heck, I have photos of players that are no longer on this server. And my old house. My sweet sweet house in the very old map from way back when. Oh well, sh*t bagger bum meat cock fart, I can always build another ha ha ha....
Move on, but take your memories & photos with you....
