hey ive recently got World of Minecraft, and it worked ONCE, then the next day i tried it again and it didnt work. i did the debugging. and everything works until i get to connecting to a server, it says... "Server connection timed out" after about 5 seconds and then options Retry, Cached and Quit. retry the same thing happens. Cached the server dosent load. and quit.. it quits.

Please help me!

oh and i have replaced minecraft.jar many times, and downloaded from different sites each time :(

you NEED to have:

the newest World of Minecraft Client.

 
if you have it and it gives this error, then push "cached", that's all that I know that could solve this.

Some servers have their URLs

Some servers have their URLs switched so try searching the name of the server and compare the links you see

Hmm... I wonder if the authentication server has anything to do with this?

Guys dont worry. My nan gave me her old windows xp laptop, from councilling (because she quit).

anyway i downloaded World of Minecraft on here and it works perfectly.

It works perfectly because the Authentication Server is back up lol.
