Can't connect to my server after OS reinstall

I reinstalled Vista 32bit, I saved my minecraft folder with server data and save files, now I can't connect.

try making a new server...
try making a new server... just download the minecraft_server.jar for me and let me know if u can connect to that. if it works redownload everything u did for the server u saved/wanted. Then transfer all the map data over, and mods etc.

does your server go online?
does your server go online? Or can you not start the server up?
if your server does boot up but u can connect try localhost.
If you CAN'T start the server up make sure you have java installed.
