Can't connect to World of Minecraft Public SMP. It just says "End of Stream". PLease help! I love this server!

When this happens, I go into

When this happens, I go into Single Player then back into Multiplayer and it seems to work.

no matter what i do it still says...

no matter what i do to log back into the server it still says: unable to connect, end of stream... why does this keep coming up? and how do you fix this?? ik its not down because under the online player list it shows everybody i usually hang out with. plz help!
