Can't download game client

When I click on the Windows game client download, it downloads instantly. If I open the zip file in winzip it says it is incomplete and wants the other parts, and if I open it in 7zip it says it can't open it. Is there something wrong with the link?

I actually can't open the zip file. I have the minecraft.jar but I can't put it inside since it won't open.

the problem might be that you need to download a minecraft.jar file
