Can't fly or speed run - noclip works fine

I have a problem.
When I connect to a multiplayer server, I can't toggle fly mode or use speed run. Noclip still works fine. I can do these fine in single-player.
I have tried this on many multiplayer maps, and the problem is the same on all servers.
This started happening after I bought a premium account on minecraft.net. Are the two related at all?
I was told to redownload the client wrapper, and minecraft.jar, which I did. The problem still persists. Can anyone help me?

The World of Minecraft client disables hacks
The World of Minecraft client disables hacks on Non-World of Minecraft servers unless +hax is placed in their MOTD or server name.

I suggest that you ctrl-f the spectator list for your name before posting. If your name is on there appeal using the top bar.
