Can't get into Creative server using World of Minecraft client.

I've got the World of Minecraft client to start up, I've logged in, and I've put the server into the bookmark section. But when I try to go into it, a random map is generated. Anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

Maybe the server is offline... or you have placed then wrong url

All 4 servers have been down for 12+ hours.  Its only the World of Minecraft servers, i can connect to minecraft.net and other multi-player servers easily.

Hmm...

It shouldn't generate a map though. Did you type in the correct server address in the bookmark. It should come up with a red screen when the server is down, saying "The server is probaly down!". And yes the servers are still undergoing maintenance. That includes the SMP servers aswell.
