Iv done everything that the instructions say and i have downloaded everything about 30 times and i just cant get MineCraft to work... The problem is that when i try to start the game all i get is the noise that windows makes when its not doing what you want it to do. I hope someone can even try and help me.

i don't know what it could be. I was half expecting my minecraft to screw up when i downloaded it for the first time but it seems ok. Have you actually bought the game?

Same thing happens to me, sometimes I get the prompt that it is from an unknown publisher and I select that I want to run anyway but nothing happens.
