When I try to go to minecraft.net, it takes forever to load, then says, "It took too long to connect," or, "Connection has timed out," I get a 404 error. This has been going on for about a week now...Can't login to my client either, just get, "Can't connect to minecraft.net." If anyone has a solution or the same problem please reply...Thanks.

Try www.minecraft.net instead of just minecraft.net!
Or if that dosn't work...(for some reason...) type minecrfat in google then select the first one.

I have no idea if it was just down for a while, or it required me to restart my computer 5 or 6 times...But either way. I'm back! :) Now to be able to connect to servers... =\
