I am not that new to Minecraft! I have bought it.
and i cant create torches swords or pickaxes! or axes... i am making them correctly because i was building them before but now i cant!
I put sticks on bottom and coal right on top and no torch option came up.
I tried to make a sword with on stick and two stones on top didnt work...
IDK what is going on but i need a solution. I dont know why this is happening please help thanks

this happens from time to time, all you need to do is just reconnect to the server and you will be able to. Trust me it happens to me too

Yes im making it correctly. Because ive made them before like a hundred times!
Maybe its the server? But i haave tried to reconnect to the server that didnt do anything. Even when i asked a member to craft me a torch i gave him the sticks and coal and he said he wasnt able to craft a torch with my sticks and coal. So he used his own and it worked..
I really hope it doesnt some how disable me from creating other stuff in the future! Please help.

Are you sure you're using flint and not coal?
