Hey everybody, just wanted to start off my introducing myself a bit.  I've been playing minecraft for a couple of months now, and I recently made my first server.  I have it setup so me and my friends can play on it, but the problem occurs when I want to run commands.  I figure I can't run commands because I'm not an admin or an operator.  However, I've been scouring the internet and tried solution after solution after solution and it still isn't working.  I was wondering if someone might be able to help me with this.  I would be greatly appreciated.  I mostly want it so I can teleport my one friend to me since he likes to wander A LOT and is new to the game haha.  I'm sure it's been answered in your threads before, so I'm sorry for reposting, but if you just want to supply me a link to another thread that would be okay too.
