Hi
Is there any way to define your own key bindings like in the normal minecraft client ?
I am used to having my own keybindings and not the pre-defined ones in this client, and although i have tried a few times i cannot seem to change any of them.

- Press ESC on your keyboard to pause Minecraft.
- Then click the on-screen "Options..." button.
- After this, click the on-screen "Controls..." button.
- Press the key binding you would like to change and hit the new keyboard button you would like to use for that action.

I have searched a lot, and have found no way to change the fly, noclip, ascend, etc commands. If anyone knows of any way to do this, please tell me. Thanks!!!

You can't change the keys in classic mode via the options menu, this has no effect as you've all found. The keys are allegedly fixed within the code of the game itself.
If this is the case I imagine it might be possible to change them if you know how to work with java files and can find and change the relevent bits of code without breaking something else but if it were a simple task I reckon somebody probably would have figured out how to do it by now.
The fly/noclip/speed keys (World of Minecraft commands) are similarly affected as far as I know.

the function for changing the key bindings on the World of Minecraft client doesnt work, so if you really need the keys changed, you will have to play the game through minecraft.net
