I found something interesting once you go 2175 blocks out of spawn and I took a screenshot of it. (Btw my reputation is no longer 1,785,356)

i did the same but on my server and went farther. astonishly i found my way back :) btw on the top of the World of Minecraft client screen it says ur cordinates.

The map must probably been very huge, if the Minecraft would have to render all the infinite blocks of water from the end of the map, it would take you million years to load a map and 0.1 second to crash your computer.
I'm not sure, looks very interesting tough!

I did that once, I think that the amount of 'water' outside your map is limited so the server doesn't blow up

Wow did you really no-clip that far out of spawn, and know exactly how many blocks out you went? You must of been very bored XD Anyway that does look strange, i dunno what it is to be honest :/
