Hello guys, I made a tutorial on how to convert a classic map to a survival map, You will need a few programs: MCEdit, WorldPainter and some other stuff. ( Links and more in the tutorial ) The tutorial is in a RTF format, and there are much images, its fun to do, and easy! so just click the link and download..

Sorry, that its on mediafire, and not on World of Minecraft self, but all the needed stuff that you cant download is in here, so its 4.79MB. Just extract and open tutorial.rtf!
the good thing is that the level will never generate normal landcapes behind the sea, it just generates the bedrock layer with 2 layers water on top, s=just like in real classic!

Enjoy!

Oh, if you got problems, tell me, even if its with the client!!

Here are some screenshots

About the Download

Yeah, I'm really sorry for this that the download isnt on World of Minecraft because maximum size is 2MB -.- and also, the turorial contains a lot of images..

Heh, from those two

Heh, from those two screenshots you can see how Minecraft has changed such as the clouds and the shadows.

Thanks for uploading.

2 problems :)

1) you should have made it so that you were holding the correct blocks in survival

2) the sun is not there on classic

yeah, thats quite cool, a perfect copy
