When i run run.bata window cmd.exe and it ask me for password and username. When I write them and click Go!, nothing is changing and I see the same window cmd.exe.

Sometimes you just have to give it a minute to do stuff.
also, for some reason, the server list doesn't shove itself to the foreground
of your computer, but opens alll the way in the back.
So if you have lots of windows open, you'll have to move them to see it.

And I changed my username so it doesn't contain any big letters or numbers

ok im setting up the custom client for my brother but its not working the same way it did for me because when i clicked the link to the minecraft.jar file it just took me to minecraft home page. then i tried copying this file from my laptop to his and run it but when i click a server the screen just comes up white. can some one please help :D
