Client Issues

So I updated my client, grabbed the latest minecraft.jar, and sat down to enjoy some building. However, after I try to join a server, this error is thrown up:
"org.lwjgl.opengl.OpenGLException: Invalid value <1281> "
Any ideas on how to fix it?
