im getting the .jar error on a mac even though i have the .jar in the lib folder. i restared and all that but it still wont work.

im also having problems with the minecraft.jar
im running XP, i ve done what the instructions say and have downloaded the minecraft.jar and put it into the lib folder, i can see its there, but when i excecute the run.bat it says that the minecraft.jar cannot be found? i looked at troubleshooting and it said that i needed to get the minecraft.jar, but i have already got that and have already tried putting it into the lib folder???? im so confused as to what ive missed out, please help!
