client v1.6.3 won't generate single player levels

On the select a server page it tells me to leave the field blank and click go to generate a level. However, when I do this it tells me it's an incomplete server field and sometimes gives me a Fatal Error ...lang.NullPointer... if I select quit. Does anyone know a simple fix for this?

Singleplayer mode in the
Singleplayer mode in the client was disabled as you could'nt save/load and the "hacks" are very dodgy on it. just set up a private MC server on your comp then connect to it :D
