Closing instead of old function.

My problem is that insead of going back to the server list, World of Minecraft will now CLOSE.
Why did it end up like this?
also, I feel as if my character is moving slower than normal, anyone notice this or is it just me?

Yes the client now closes now when you leave a server. We had to do it this way to avoid other problems but we did add a 'resume' button to the splash page to help those going back to the same server.
Character movements are still the same.
