hi...i did have an offline version of minecraft but my password suddenly stopped working and i lost all of my data...i just made this username tonight and i am lost... when i try to start it up i have to put in my minecraft username and password and a direct connect url...i have no idea what a direct connect url is...what i really want is to just play minecraft on or offline without having to worry about my base being wrecked...if anyone can help me to play id be gratefull...ill even play on your server if u like...i just need to be able to get on it

well if you've downloaded the World of Minecraft client from here, then you need to log into it with your minecraft.net username and password, and you don't need to worry about the direct connect url unless you're having problems. the World of Minecraft client isn't offline, it's for multiplayer only. also, this isn't a forum game :3
