Custom client and multiplayer

Ive been having an issue with the custom client.
when i punch in a play url
example http://www.minecraft.net/play.jsp?server=e1e13aacca72506a078ac27f8ac971a8
and i hit play it does not connect to the server but makes a single player map.
any help?

i know this as i log off the server try and connect through World of Minecraft, doesnt work so i reconnect on the site

No the serv or url is right, i get the same problem too. im on windows 7

When you start up World of Minecraft, How many server's are listed in the server list? if there's none, you need to change you're password to something without spaces andweird letters/numbers
