Installing textures easily!

The default texture pack is in the minecraft.jar in the "bin" folder from .minecraft.
To get the default texture pack,
1. Go to "Computer"
2. In the search up in the screen type "%Appdata%"
3. Now your in a folder named "Roaming"
4. Go to the folder named ".minecraft"
5. Now ur in the minecraft folder
6. Now go to "bin"
7. Find and extract the minecraft.jar
8. Now you have all of the default texture pack!! Oh, its named minecraft

To extract:
1. Go to the folder u placed the pack.
2. Then (if sure u have winrar) right mouse click,
3. Select extract here.
4. If its extracted go to the "run" program.
5. type "%temp%".
6. In this folder go to the folder "minecraft.net".
and place there...

Hey, I have a big annoying problem with my default texture pack you see, i downloaded this texture pack. but it broke my minecraft. So i downloaded a app to fix the texture pack, but what its done [other then fixing my texturepack] is that its replaced my default with the other texture pack. and after a while im sick of the stupid texture pack and want to play in default or somthing else, but i cant cause if i add a texture pack, minecraft dosent work again. i tried re-downloading minecraft which dident work. So...
PLEASE HELP!!!!!! :'(

can't you just delete the minecraft.jar folder and then update ur minecraft?

Have you tried to delete "minecraft-1.2_02" and "Version" in the bin folder?
