Hello everyone,
Lately I've felt the need for a better texture pack and in spite of several amazing texture packs, there wasn't one that ruled them all. Each had awesome things but lacked in some areas. That's when I decided to make my own texture pack that would have the best from all and more! I would like to thank the following texture packs from which I've used several things: Sanguine, LB Photo Realism, Aageon's BumpMaft.
I've edited many of the textures and also created some myself. After about 2-3 days working 18 hours a day (sleeping at 6-8 am and waking up at a bit past 12), the initial 1.0 version of the texture pack was finished. Phew. So please forgive the few bugs that there might be.
Some more time has passed and the graphics have been cleaned up and I've even took the time to make 128x128 / 64x64 / 32x32 / 16x16 versions available.
ALSO check out the ART that I've tried to implement to your minecraft experience. Hope that works, I haven't yet managed to test that. (was of least importance to a full-working texture pack)
It would be selfish of me to enjoy it by myself. Therefore, I'll share it with the world and hope you'll do it as well.
Enjoy.
If you notice any bugs, please don't hesitate to make them known. A positive feedback wouldn't hurt either. :)
HOW to Install:
Download:
# Eno Pack HD v1.2 x128 / x64 / x32 / x16
# Xau's automatic patcher: http://www.mediafire.com/?977l77vb74nmcfl
Run Xau's texture patcher program,
*Choose your .minecraft.jar file in the "Output" field (LEAVE IT as it is - if you haven't modified it)
To the right of the "Texture pack", click Browse and choose the "Eno Pack v1.0 x###.zip" texture pack that you have downloaded.
*choose 128x128 / 64x64 / 32x32 / 16x16 as the size in Xau's patcher. (LEAVE IT as it is- it automatically detects the title size)
Tick all three animated water, lava, fire options.
Tick both custom water,lava options.
Press the "Patch button" and let it complete.
After it finishes, quit Xau's patcher and run the game.
Enjoy.
note: * = optional.
* twice (x2) as much performance it means i have managed to observe a major decrease in used ram for all versions, up to -50% less ram used. Using the improved version 1.2, you would have used twice as much ram before to run the previous versions. On average, you can notice a -35% ram usage.

I really like this texture pack, but it kinda makes Minecraft...Not look like Minecraft, again, I really like it because it looks like so much effort is put in to it with all the realistic textures.
looks amazing!!! i have been looking for something to test out my new computer with.. thanks for your hard work!!
MAJOR UPDATE v1.2 - improved the rendering of most of the items who had small bugs and surprise, surprise:
- - - 128 x 128 | 64 x 64 | 32 x 32 | 16 x 16 - - -
- - versions are now available - -
UP TO TWICE (x2) AS MUCH PERFORMANCE *
I've worked on:
# particles, terrain - cleanup
# improved rendering for the following items: (cloth, wool, iron, diamond, gold) helmet, (cloth, wool, iron, diamond, gold) chest armor, (cloth, wool, iron, diamond, gold) leggings, (cloth, wool, iron, diamond, gold) boots, arrow, bow, sign, wheat, stick, about 30% of the tools & weapons, all buckets, book, leather, saddle.
# creating, editing and improving the new versions pixel by pixel (as it has been the case with everything so far as well)
Enjoy and happy mining.
If you notice any bugs, please don't hesitate to make them known. A positive feedback wouldn't hurt either. :)

Make a 3x3 normal version of this?
this is just beautiful. good work on this pack sir (or ma'am) i congratulate you on a job very well done.
@Roshannnn I'm afraid not. That would be just too damn much and i couldn't handle those naughty pixels. I'm just glad I finished what I had in mind and I'd like to take an average well deserved break. No more pixel-by-pixel editing and creating graphics. No moooooore. Oh, the horror .. the horrroooorrrr of the tens and tens of times when it didn't work as intended. EeeeK. Haha. Good one Roshan. =))
@Ultra X: Thanks for your perspective, I think you're right in many ways. In the end it comes down to personal taste. You could try the 16x16 and see if that fits the bill, if you like. ;P
@killzone9021, staticchmbr: thanks so much for your feedback.
The x128 version I did for me and a friend of mine, but the x16, x32, x64 ones I did them just for you. I'm glad some of you find it useful and pleasant-looking. In the end, if the cumulative time people at a whole use in reading, downloading, playing and using the texture pack equals at least the time I've invested in creating them, I'm a happy man. If they end up using it as their favorite texture pack, I'm thrilled. :)
Just some fun facts for this pack from 23 March ==> 28 March:
# 8 days of hard work totaling about 130 continuous hours.
# 386 people watched the youtube presentation video, mostly from Germany (52), USA (43), Romania (43), France (30), Australia (18), Britain, Canada, Norway and Sweeden with 11 each.
# There were a bit over 100 people who downloaded the v1.0 version in the first day. 85% of the people who viewed the video, downloaded it.
# When v1.1 came the next day, 166 people downloaded the new version but strangely enough, so did about 30 people with the old 1.0 version.
#This forum thread had about 150 views - day 1, ~ 400 - day 2, ~ 1000 - day 3.
#Officially, the pack has been downloaded ~ 688 times so far, by about 400 people according to my estimates. I cannot know for certain as it can be freely distributed outside measurable statistics.
v1.0 - 206 downloads
v1.1 - 375 downloads
v1.2 - launched 6 hours ago: x128: 69 downloads, x64: 12 downloads, x32: 14 downloads, x16: 12 downloads.
Bandwidth used: 19 GB.
# 55.6 % (179) of the visitors came from external website, from which 49.4% (159) from this very forum. Thanks :) The rest from google searches.
5.3% (17) people watched it on their mobile devices.
At least 18 % of the people who play minecraft are women. nice !
With this minor update:
# the torches smoke was modified and is now more eye pleasing;
# the furnace window interface was fixed (some small error white pixels were present in previous versions)
You can get the updated version 1.2.1 here: http://www.mediafire.com/enopack
# fixed redstone block
http://www.mediafire.com/?jdcnlqer2lmarrc
will this be updated for 1.4?
I patched the 128x128 txt pack but it wont let me use it. Why is that?
No idea. Works fine with minecraft v1.4
Try installing minecraft from scratch, from 0, then update it to minecraft v1.4, and then patch the texture pack.
How do I do that?
Clean install. I just explained it to you. Install minecraft. Run it, let it update to 1.4 if it's not already. then patch the texture pack.
what do u mean by install it though?
Now thanks to u I think my save file is corupted
What's uninstall and install again have anything to do with losing save files ? Jesus ! Besides, haven't ever thought of making a back-up of the minecraft folder ?!
No one to blame here but yourself.
i have never heard of save files getting corrupted..did you manually delete the save files? your not supposed to.
i use mcpatcher to load all of my texture packs.. it works
so, eno, does this have textures for the wolves and such?
Of course it has wolves, because wolves are separate files downloaded automatically from v1.4 minecraft. What it doesn't yet have is HD Wolves texture (new, different from the minecraft one).
So this texture pack doesn't yet bring new wolves skin.
Eno Pack HD v1.3 with new wolves skins !
