I'm getting an "Error occured while loading server list. server returned HTTP response code 502. gives me a retry option but doesnt work, whats this mean?

This has been happening to me ever since downloading the client. Never been able to get World of Minecraft to work. Server returned error retrieving server list, http 502. :/
Is it an error for those who haven't bought the actual Minecraft game and had it registered to their account on the website too?

It's nothing to do with paying Minecraft. I'm pretty sure triddin and the rest of the team are working something out.

I'm getting the same error, I imagine there's been an update to minecraft.jar which is preventing World of Minecraft from retrieving server details from minecraft.net

making classic harder and harder is quite stupid!
i also bought beta and i dont want my money back but i like classic more....
the problem i see is theres only the way over mojang servers to run classic!
well if some coders would be awesome it might be possible to create something like World of Minecraft to make a backdoor but at all there would be an interesting option if they will implement to create a none mojang supported server!
what i mean is, just let ppl who just wants to play with their friends make a lan function or give them some code advice how to get the own hash!
problem atm is mojang loginserver are crashing and World of Minecraft guys dont care about the new fixes of mojang and co and/or are not able to come as fast as mojang changes!
its quite annoying....
