Lately I've been building in a classic server, and I just got the World of Minecraft client wrapper to help out in my projects. However, it's been crashing repeatedly; I've reinstalled java and cleared its memory cash, but it didn't make a difference. The game runs fine for a short time and then crashes with this error message:
# A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:

ERROR: Failed to run minecraft
JAVA6="C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe"
Does anyone have any tips?
I am having a similar issue. Just bought it to start playing and the thing won't run!
After launching the client and loggining it is crashes and I gt error repots saying
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION
I've tried un installing Java and wiping the registry and re installing the latest version. And hunting the web for clues and have found nothing.
Any help please
Incidently I know near nothing of minecraft but from reading ure comment saying that it started crashing after you got the " World of Minecraft client wrapper" then maybe remove that... whatever it is.
I'm having the same problem - I just bought minecraft and downloaded the stand-alone launcher. I tried both versions of the launcher, and both cause crashes after I try to log in. To be clear, the login page loads, but after I enter my user name and password the program crashes and gives an error report. The contents of the report are:

I'm having the exact same problem, with the same error message as mrosasco. I've recently updated java and downloaded both versions of the game from the download page. The browser-based version is also running incredibly slow. Could this be a hardware issue, or what?

Ugh, now my browser-based game without the wrapper is crashing in classic servers with this error.
Help! I need somebody, help! Not just anybody, help!
You know I need someone...
