Help please, I've been struggling with this for a long time. I've been doing google searches and I still haven't found an answer. Because of this I can't join any classic server even it's online or not.

Thats happens some times to me but i use World of Minecraft but the server is down or there might be a bug with minecraft classic multiplayer, Not really sure mate. :D

I had the same problem, but all I did was go to add or remove programs on control panel, and i removed java 7 update 4 but i had 6 already in there, so i basically downgraded it. It worked for me.

Alright It worked! Now my problem is that when I join a server via World of Minecraft it says: Login failed.

reisntall your internet cable then restart your computer... then it works that was my issue when i was first join

You can probably check your router's configuration, since it seems to be a connection problem. Try seeing if port 80 is working correctly. [Even though port 80 is for internet browsing]

Im having the same problem but iv seen stuff like this and i think classic multiplayer is removed,Its happened with World of Minecraft too so there is no backup :(! Notch wants us to get full version so he blocked classic multiplayer!

Now World of Minecraft is down to one "player" - IRC chat - I've been trying to get online now for about 18 hours. Is there any fix in the works?
