Failed to connect to the server. Help!

That is the error message I get trying to join SMP servers. I have a server and people always go on!
It is 24.138.25.209:25565
Anyway, can you tell me why when I try to join it says this? I think its an internet problem because it happend on my other computer too.Please help. I want smp!
