Faulty game menu?

Hello people,
Minecraft alone gave me this (not unheard of) "black screen", and so I thought that my hope in this game would rest in World of Minecraft. However, When I start a new level (offline (I think, I mean, I did not connect to any servers)) it automatically gives my the pause menu. When I press "back to game" it just pauses it again strait after. If i press escape on my keyboard the menu goes away and I can roam around, but the second I click to mine the menu just comes back up again.

Minecraft automatically pauses when the mouse leaves the program.
Example if I ALT + TAB to internet, the game will pause.
So my suggestion not knowing the actual problem, is that Some program on your computer is Grabbing your mouse. :P
This also happens with pop ups. Like sometimes, I get a POP up from my Download Accelerator, telling me to update, and this makes my minecraft automatically pause.. Im not quite sure if thats not the problem.
